YUGOSLAV ROCK MAGAZINE, ROCK EXPRESS" BRINGS A STORY ABOUT ALICE COOPER ON ITS EDITION "METAL EXPRESS"
The story is about less-known facts about Alice, because, as the author says, "it would be offensive
to explain you who Alice Cooper is"
Here's few interesting trivias:
Q: Is it thrue that some old lady died next to Alice in airplain?
A: He was sitting in the plane and played cards with some old lady, and she decided to take a nap
and asked Alice to wake her up when the plane lands. When Alice tryed to wake her up, he found out that she died. Reactions
on this story were that "It is not strange that she died, because she was sitting next to Alice Cooper"
Q: There were rumors that the mumbling in the end of "Woman machine" was satanic mantra.
A: It is possible, if something like that exists in a manual for vacuum cleaner, because Alice
reads that at the end of the song.

ENGLISH:
ALICE TALKING ABOUT "PICK UP THE BONES" SONG FROM "BRUTAL PLANET"
It started out with the idea of... I thought
"What scares me?" I'm gonna write something people expected to be scary because I don't mind being Steven King of Rock'n'Roll,
I don't mind writing things like "The last temptation" and albums that got the definite darkness to it, but a morality to
it. I wanted to have a morality to it. And I thought... "What scares me?" And I realised that fiction didn't scare me. Nothing
fictional scared me. And what really scared me was CNN. I've sit there and I watch and I'm watching...and... and there's this
guy who literally walking thorought this town that just have been rubbished. Smoke's still coming off the ground... It looks
like a movie set. He's got a hafety bag, or something. And he's picking up (...) ribs and sais "This is my cousin"... He picks
up the scull..."This is my aunt". He's collecting his family. After this army came thorought. (...) And I said "This
is hell. This is hell on Earth" And this didn't happened 50 years..this is... yesterday... in Kosovo.... and I wrote "Pick
up the bones". I said "This is scary... this is scarier than 'Dwight Fry', this is scarier than anything I've ever written.
Because it's real."
SERBIAN:
ALICE PRICA O TOME KAKO JE NASTALA PESMA "PICK UP THE
BONES" SA ALBUMA "BRUTAL PLANET"
Pocelo je sa idejom... Pomislio sam "Sta je to sto me plasi?" Napisacu
nesto zastrasujuce, jer ljudi to ocekuju, zato sto mi ne smeta da budem Steven King Rock'n'Roll-a, ne smeta mi da pisem stvari
kao sto je "The last temptation" i totalno mracne albume uopste, ali i albume sa dozom morala. Hteo sam da bude morala. I
pomislio sam... "Sta me plasi?". I shvatio sam da me fikcija ne plasi. Nista izmisljeno me ne plasi. Ono sto mene stvarno
plasi jeste CNN.
On skuplja svoju porodicu.
Posto je ta vojska prosla kroz grad. Rekao sam: "Ovo je pakao. Ovo je pakao na Zemlji". I to se nije dogodilo pre 50 godina...
to je bilo... skoro juce... na Kosovu... i napisao sam "Pick up the bones" ("Pokupi kosti"). Rekoh "Ovo je stravicno... strasnije
od 'Dwight Fry', strasnije od svega sto sam do sad napisao. Zato sto je to stvarnost..."
